Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how eWallby LLC collect and use your information. This Privacy Policy is a binding contract and by using our website address https://ewallaby.com
you agree to it.

2. Principles

We are deeply committed to creating a safe and secure online environment for you.
We do not sell your Personal Information to advertisers.

3. What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Beta Test, Contact Form and Newsletter

When visitors subscribe to the beta test and Newsletter or use the contact form on the site we collect the data shown in the respective form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

4. Non-personally identifiable information

We may collect non-personally identifiable information about you that is not Personal Information. When you access our website, we may collect such things as your IP address, browser, operating system, referring URL, and other general information about our visitors. This information, on its own, cannot usually be used to identify you. This information is used for internal analysis to monitor and improve our site.

5. Cookies

When you use the website, we may collect certain information by automated or electronic means, using technologies such as cookies, browser analysis tools, and web server logs. As you use the Service, your browser and devices communicate with servers managed by our business partners, our services providers or us to record the interactivity and to fulfill your requests for services and information.

A “cookie” is a small amount of information that a web server sends to your browser that stores information about your account, your preferences, and your use of the Service. Some cookies contain a signature that allows us to connect your activity with other information we store about you in your profile or as related to your interactions with the Service. The information from cookies and related technology is stored in web server logs and also in web cookies kept on your computers or devices, which are then transmitted back to our Service by your computers or devices. We use cookies to keep track of how you are using our site so that we can tailor our content to your interests.

Some cookies are temporary, whereas others may be configured to last longer. “Session” cookies are temporary cookies used for various reasons, such as to manage page views. Your browser usually erases session cookies once you exit your browser. “Persistent” cookies are more permanent cookies that are stored on your computers or mobile devices even beyond when you exit your browser. We use persistent cookies for a number of purposes, such as retrieving certain information you have previously provided (such as your user id if you asked to be remembered), and storing your preferences (e.g., the way Service pages or information is displayed).

We collect many different types of information from cookies and other technologies. For example, we may collect information from the devices you use to access the Service, your operating system type or mobile device model, browser type, domain, and other system settings, as well as the language your system uses and the country and time zone of your device. Browsers routinely send these types of information to web servers. Our server logs also record the IP addresses of the devices you use to interact with the Service. An IP address is a unique identifier that devices use to identify and communicate with each other on the Internet. We may also collect information about the website you were visiting before you accessed the Service and the websites you visit after you leave our Service, if this information is supplied to us by your browser.

In many cases the information we collect using cookies and other tools is used in non-identifiable ways and without any reference to Personal Information. For example, we use information we collect about users to optimize the Services and understand its traffic and usage patterns. In other cases, we associate the information we collect using cookies and related technologies with Personal Information. In that case, this Privacy Policy governs how we use that information.

6. Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

7. Who we share your data with

First and foremost, you should know that eWallaby does not sell your Personal Information to any third party for any purpose – including for advertising or marketing purposes unless you specifically opt-in.

We work with vendors, service providers, and other partners to help us provide our Service by performing tasks on our behalf. We may need to share or provide information (including Personal Information) to them to help them perform these business functions, for example sending emails on our behalf, database management services, database hosting, providing customer support software, and security. Generally, these service providers do not have the right to use your Personal Information we share with them beyond what is necessary to assist us. These service providers must adhere to confidentiality and security obligations in a way that is consistent with their own terms and policies.

The third parties we work with to provide our Service are:

  • Google for managing our emailing
  • Google Analytics for analytics on our websites
  • Mailchimp for managing our user sign ups for the beta-test and newsletter

This Privacy Policy only applies to information collected during your use and access of our service or any other interactions you may have with eWallaby. Our website contains links to other locations on the internet that are not owned or controlled by us. Please be aware that we are not responsible for the privacy practices of other websites or services. We encourage you to read the privacy statements of each website that collects your Personal Information.

8. How long we retain your data

If you sign up for the newsletter, beta-test or submit comments via the contact form the content and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

9. What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

10. Comments and Questions.

If you have any comments or questions, you may address them to eWallaby LLC, or by email at info@ewallaby.com.
